While it would be easy to think that the little yellow guys and their antics are the biggest draw, the whole story is what gets you. The animation is top notch, and the whole family will enjoy it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

M. Night continues to disappoint. His adaptation of this charming and wonderful story is Epic Fail. He couldn't even get the actors to pronounce Aang's name correctly! And the character of Aang was dark and humourless, nothing at all like the fun loving kid that would rather ride the back of a giant Koi than fight the fire nation. Unless there is a new director, this series will desperately flop.
SKG comes through again with great art and a fun tale. The story was the familiar misfit does good tale, but they chose a great vehicle for telling the tale.
