Mostly Awesome witha dash of disappointment

Mostly Awesome. I am not a huge Trekkie. I've watched some parts of a few series, and some of the movies, but I do it for my husband. I know enough to make the movie really awesome, but not enough to make me see the inaccuracies.
My husband was pretty tough on it being fairly disappointed with the cheesy premiss. He also made the comment "the past shouldn't look more futuristic than the future."
The acting was great! All of them did SO WELL! I hope they win awards for this one. I was glued to the screen. Awesome movie!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
