Great re-interpretation of something many of us have grown up with. First time my daughter has seen one of the Trek Movies. A great way to introduce a new generation to one of the great sci fi legacies. I did not go in looking for a film re-telling everything we presume to know about the young lives of Kirk, Spock etc. and came a way marveling at the story and how well everyone was brought together none the less. I left curious as to where Star Trek will go next. Something I haven't been able to say since Rodenbury's touch on the series was lost.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
