Imagine being able to create a TV show which after all of its dizzying scrutiny and analysis, tri-corder readings and campy melodrama, touching so many people to hope for "a better world" that a movie thirty years after the first motion picture, captured the visual dream of the first Trekies? Is that possible? Could this be that good of an installment of the franchise to resurrect the original show? Will there be more movies of the "on-going voyages of the Star Ship Enterprise?" I can't answer any of those questions but "I hope so." What a great movie: fun, exciting, visually fulfilling and pure "Star Trek."
Yes, I recommend this movie.
