Any Star Trek is good enough for me, but this one should be good for EVERYBODY. It has a few platitudes at the end (good for little kids), it has rivalry and quips (good for us older Trekkies), and it establishes the characters in pithy but interesting fashion. Everyone would enjoy this fast-acting but soulful journey of 2 hours and 6 minutes!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
