Great Solution to a 'No-Win Scenario!'

There was no way this movie was going to make die hard fans happy, without finding a reason to re-write history. There are just too many random facts out there, that they'd never be able to get them all straight. Re-writing history was the only way to make this work. Trek has always been about the relationship between the core characters, and this movie delivered in spades. Pine as Kirk was very true to the original. Quinto as Spock was a natural. But Karl Urban stole the movie as Leonard "Bones" McCoy. Great plot, great action, great characters. This one felt like an excellent addition to the mythos.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
