I watched star trek as a kid/teen/adult. I didn't like the idea of doing an early adult version of the cast. "why fix what isn’t broke". Overall they did a good job on acting. The script threw in some classic lines, that in my mind just made it a bit hokey. The Sound and Graphics were good. Hey, it was IMAX.Fight scenes were decent. Unfortunately fans of the "Enterprise" there wasn't much to see.We Love the enterprise and what it is and stands for. There were VERY few scenes which showed its beauty. Funny, I went in with low expectations, and I exited the movie with the “bar” right to my expectations. This movie will be better the 2nd time I watch. I won’t see it again until DVD.Once again, take this as it is. Views from a diehard fan.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
