Not your average Star Trek movie

What was there not to praise? I would be the first one to cut this movie up had there been any sign of desperation, or insult to the Star Trek cult. As a daughter and wife of avid Trekkers -- and one myself -- this movie was smart, sexy and had special effects that surpassed expectations (even in a "Pirates" and "Star Wars" ILM world). The story tie-ins to the original series were clever and loyal -- and not so obvious -- making it rewarding to watch as well. I highly recommend this to the whole family.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
