View from a non Treky

This movie was very entertaining from the perspective of a non “Treky”. I took a friend who is a huge fan. He didn’t enjoy it as much as I did but said it was a good movie. His major issue with the film was that a lot of information is given to the audience in a short period of time. I felt like I got to know the characters personalities and history right off the bat and had could understand their actions later in the movie.
The special effects were, to use a pun "out of this world". There was a lot of action and it was entertaining the whole way through.
Even if you are not a star trek fan this movie will entertain you and be a good flick to take in while it is on the big screen.
