I've already used up every adjective for "AMAZING" while describing this movie verbally. I'm a fan of the original series, spin-off series and the movies. J.J. Abrams did an excellent job of subtly providing details to tie in aspects of the early shows; which made me as a fan very happy. However, someone who has never seen a single episode of the tv shows or the movies would be able to follow along and, I believe, truly enjoy the show. The graphics and animation are brilliant. They couldn't have casted it any better. And it definitely leaves you hanging on for more!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
