I have to admit that I went into this film with mixed feelings... excitement... doubt... hope... and extreme anxiety. There was a great deal riding on the success of this film for Star Trek fans.
I spent most of the next two hours with a huge smile on my face. I laughed and nodded and enjoyed every minute. The film appeals to average theatergoers and die-hard fans alike. It feels like Star Trek and plays like an action/comedy/adventure blockbuster. It felt to me like an old, dear friend was coming home.
I have very little doubt that this movie will become the most successful Star Trek film to date... and maybe one of the biggest movies of the year!
STAR TREK is BACK in a BIG way!
SEE THIS FILM! Then see it again!
