The first thing I have to say is that the special effects really did this film justice. I mean they spared no expense getting every running light, every hull plate separation point, every rivet in the ship was worked into the CGI, very masterfully done, and that was just the beginning. Space itself was very well detailed, as were the stars, planets, and the like, each exhibiting with great accuracy their own individual characteristics. The characters were accurate, and the storyline was very interesting. A few things seemed off canon, I'm gonna research some more on that. All in all, it's a must see film for fans and non-fans alike.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
