Overall, this moving was amazing.
**Plot Spoiler Alert**
However, despite many other reviewers continuing to praise it for staying "true to the characters," I would like to point out that Spock and Kirk have no reason to stay true to nimoy and shatner.
In the Original Series, Kirk was raised by two parents, in this one he was raised by one. Spock had a planet, in this one things are a bit different.
Both of those experiences would have a profound affect on ANYONE, therefore, these two characters may be reinvented...the whole franchise has been reinvented and rebooted. Kudos to all. TWO thumbs, enthusiastically, up
