Great Movie

My opinions of Star Trek were formed by the fact that I am of the generation that actually watched the original TV series when it came out, so most of my standards are based on that.
That being said I think it is a great movie all by itself. What made it even better for me is the fact that it captures the comical interactions that I loved in the original series. If you liked the original series you will love this movie. Even my 17 year old daughter loved it.
I thought the story and cast were very good with the exception of Bones, I thought his character was a little weak.
The only negative for me was some of the unstable camera work that was added for effect was over done.
