Overall the movie was excellent and my three year old loved it. I think that some of the movie content (death of spouse, parent abandonment) might be a little much for the 5-7 year old group, but it went right over my little one's head.
Other than that, the graphics were excellent, the comedy was family oriented and it was not preachy (see: Wall-e). I thought it was a great family movie.

This was by far and away the worst of the Pixar movies. The characters were boring and the story line was not really child friendly. My young daughter was trying to walk up and down the aisles by the time the movie was 30 minutes old.
Her reaction to the movie (as well as the entire family's) was much less enthusiastic than it was for Kung Fu Panda.
I would still go to Pixar movies in the future, but I would never see this movie twice, nor would I buy the DVD.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
