Although the story or plot has been seen on the big screen in various formats, this movie is a MUST SEE! Why? The CGI graphics and special effects in this movie will AMAZE you! It's just a beautiful movie...period. I would highly recommend seeing Avatar in 3D if that's an option for you in your area. It's a long movie, but time flies by so don't let that keep you from seeing it!

Typical with a few twists!

My wife and I went to see this one last weekend. We both enjoyed it but it was mostly a typical "chick" flick. It was very entertaining, however, so I would definitely recommend it to a freind!

The movie was fairly typical of most "chick flicks"--sweet yet predictable. I do agree with others that the movies was pretty good and had some funny parts but was definitely NOT the best work for any actors involved. If your girlfriend or wife went with you to see Star Trek fellas.....treat her to this one, she'll like it.

As a life long Star Trek fan, I was a little skeptical about the movie, having heard that changes were made to the official Star Trek "cannon". However I also realize that changes needed to be made to make Star Trek a little more "hip" and to draw in a new crowd of Star Trek fans. They made it all "fit" together using the old Star Trek trick of TIME TRAVEL! hahah It works really well and now Star Trek is positioned for a nice rebirth! By the way, the FX in this movie were absolutely brilliant!
