Surprisingly good!

I went into the movie sort of wondering what I was going to get. "Life is like a box of chocolates" after all! Imagine my surprise when the movie got me hooked from beginning to end! The "hero" of the film is sort of an antihero, actually. He does some very selfish, albeit human things. But the movie overall was excellent. I recommend it!

Reboot Successful!

Many fanboys were probably concerned about a reboot of this most hallowed of franchise, but I gotta say: J.J. Abrams & Co. pulled it off!
Go see this film even if you're not into Star Trek! No better time to jump aboard the Star Trek train than now with this movie!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
