Predictably grotesque

While there are many shocks and jars, the actual "scare factor" of this film leaves something to be desired. The innundation of grotesque seens and the predictable plot has one thinking they stepped into scary movie 5 with less comedic flare. Average performances, and an unsuprising ending round out this flat, mediocre film in the genre.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Subpar Sequel

While I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie. The sequel did not live up to expectations. The story and plot were ridiculous even by this genres standard's, and the humor fell flat. If your looking for a family outing, look elsewhere and wait for DVD if you think this is a must see.

Excellent reimagining

As worried as I was going into this movie about how many ways it could have gone wrong my fears were laid to rest. Undoubtedly the best Star Trek film in years. Faithfully recreates and rejuvinates the original characters while bringing the series a modern look. The fluid storyline ensures several more to follow.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
