To Infinity and Beyond

When I first saw the teaser for Star Trek I got excited. I watched most of the original series on the scifi channel. I wasn't worried about the movie ruining the series because pretty much everything cheesy or dumb has already been done in the series. However, I was blown away by how good the movie was in comparison to my expectations. JJ abrams brought all the classic lines and characters to a new audience without being cheezy or seeming forced. The casting was excellent as was the acting.The opening grabbed me and pulled me into the story. It was a very powerful and well done scene. From there the story built up becoming more and more intense until I thought it couldn't go any further. AND THEN IT DID!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
