I am proud to be a 51 y.o. female, who sat on the edge of my wheelchair for the entire 2 hrs & 6 min!!!
I've seen all the TV shows. However, the excitement of TOS is unequaled. It had me running home from school to do my homework so not to miss an episode!
That nostalgia & my respect for J.J.Abrams are the main reasons I felt confident that THIS Star Trek movie would outshine some of its predicessors
I coerced my 18 & 20 yr olds to the 1st showing @ 7p May 7. So how do I get back to see it again?!
What can I say? I'll tell you! The effects ARE out of this world, the actors amazing, and a plot so well written even I couldn't figure it out!
In conclusion, it's NOT your mothers' Star Trek..., it's BETTER!!!
