The action in this movie is non-stop, but that doesn't diminish the story at all. JJ Abrams has once again inserted some interesting twists that, while unexpected, still honor the Star Trek canon. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, something totally different happens, but it makes perfect sense.
This movie continues to show how the relationships among the new crew are developing and pushes those relationships to the max. This installment lays the groundwork for more movies in the future. I don't believe there will be any problems building upon this story in the future.
The visual effects are incredible and the 3D makes them especially effective. I will see this movie again and would recommend it to everybody! It's a sci-fi thriller that's packed with action and a deep storyline.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Cons "created drama" at one point
