Star Trek is incredible.
The movie starts, grabs you, and never lets go. I have rarely experienced anything like this in any movie, let alone a Star Trek movie. So much happens during every frame of this film that my mind is still trying to process it all.
The acting is perfect....the effects are jaw-dropping. When the Enterprise is first revealed, it took my breath away. As the ship drops out of warp, heading to Vulcan, a lump developed in my throat andI gasped. Each new scene is another emotional rise or drop.
This film is not just gorgeous effects and snappy editing. There is a weight, a severity, and a meaning behind it, and the story has the depth and maturity to knock the wind out of you.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
