A winner but...

Let me start off by saying: This is a fantastic movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, its not without its faults.
The biggest fault is the villian. It seems that the writers just threw in a cookie-cutter villian from past Trek outtings, slapped on some minimal makeup, added a couple of well placed scowls and angry dialoge and called it a day.
Still, im looking forward to the sequel as this films success will guarantee.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
