Great even for non-Trekkies!

Like many of my generation (35-45 demographic), I enjoyed Star Trek (the original) as much as anyone. But am I a Trekkie? No- not even close. This version of "Star Trek" was such an homage to the series and filled in a lot of the personal gaps from the series in very entertaining fashion. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that there were too many falls from great heights (yes, I am afraid of heights)! But everything else about the movie was terrific! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to be entertained (not to mention, get their money's worth for the ticket price).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
