Overall this was an entertaining movie that I wasn't disappointed to spend the money on. Harrison Ford I suppose was meant to play the character the way he did, but even when he made an attempt at chemistry it was forced, so his character was very unlikeable if you are going to see a movie to love his character, you aren't going to like him much. It is uncovered that he has some compassion, but don't want to be a spoiler. So overall it's a good movie, I would go just to see Dian Keaton resurrect her sassy personality from "Family Stone." Would have liked to see more of a story with Patrick Wilson and Rachel McAdams, but they are both driven career minded, so that's the sacrifice. Good Movie, I give it 3.75 to 4 stars. Solid.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not funny.

Had a little time to kill, thought I would check this out because I do like Robert Downey Jr. but this movie was really awful. There were a few funny parts but mostly just stupid stuff that was pathetic and disgusting at times. I usually can take about anything in a comedy, but I usually like something that is funny to be considered a comedy. This was like planes, trains and automobiles minus the trains, but on an acid trip instead of a road trip. I'd skip this one and wish I had. Hope this doesn't hurt R D Jrs career that he has pieced back together.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Cute movie,

Movie was cute, and just a different spin on a story that has played over and over, but entertaining with cute moments. Anyone with kids can relate to some of the baby issues but not to the degree in this movie, but thats what made it funny and cute. Katherine Heigl had better start embracing the fact that she is a working actress, her arrogance about her past movies made me want to take a pass on this one, so she needs to do some damage control after her comments about doing the movie "knocked up." Josh Duhamel, I've seen him in a few things, right now he is just eye candy for the ladies and hasn't had any breakthrough roles and this isn't one either. Chemistry between the two actors was forced, but believable, so I would recommend the movie. Goofy neighbors were some of the funniest parts.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Boring, Nerdy, walked out...

I just couldn't take it anymore, this was so boring, and Jesse Eisenberg speaking in his monotone voice throughout proceedings was just misery to listen to. I know this is supposed to be a statement movie, but I was just bored to tears. I have a facebook account, makes me want to cancel it. I think it is a huge waste of time and I think there will be a backlash soon, just like myspace it will lose popularity when the next best thing comes along. I think the founder of FB is arrogant, and maybe that's why Eisenberg played him the way he did, but this was just a Nerd Fest movie, and in the audience, think everyone had there cell phones out the whole time, Okay well I think I've made the point that I think this movie sucked.

Action and Comedy. A little like the Expendables, but better story, not knocking Expendables but it was clearly more of a guy movie. Bruce Willis combining what he has always done best, Comedy and Action, and I never used to like John M. but he has found a niche that nobody does better by being the querky guy. You won't be disappointed, I give it 4 1/2 stars but this thing won't let me.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was a young boy when this horse won the triple crown 4 or 5 years old and I remember how the story of this horse gripped the country even at that age.
The movie was pretty good, and I would recommend it for all ages. Several stories of how the story came together was very interesting from the owner to the trainer to the horse itself of course. Of course you know the ending going in, so the story is of how it came to be. I think everyone will enjoy this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best Movie of the Year thus far...

I have in the past dismissed Ben Affleck as just another hollywood pretty boy who makes a few cute movies and lately a lot of stinkers.
Folks if this is what he has graduated to then welcome Ben Affleck. He wrote the screenplay, just like Good Will Hunting, and directed this movie, and I can truly say this was a gripping movie from start to finish and you will not be disappointed unless you were thinking you were going to see a different genre, but that would be your fault for not doing your homework. Great, Great Movie. 5 stars, two thumbs up, look for Oscars for this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I must be in the minority here, but I was bored by this movie that could not decide what decade each character was living in. It was a rip off of a lot of films and a story that you seen many times. I actually walked out early and saw another movie so unless it got a whole lot better I don't think I missed anything. Will wait and watch this on Netflix or something, if I give it a second try at all. Go see The Town instead.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

no little kids, and I would say 15 or over

Just due to the subject matter I would be embarrassed if I took a 13 year old. The subject matter is crude, and the teacher behavior is not where you would want your kids to be getting their guidance, but it was a movie, it was funny, and no where near the stuff we had in the 80's like Porky's, etc. I liked the hipppy parents of Emma Stones character, and Stanley Tucci has usually played the jerk in a lot of movies but I like the guy in movies. Don't go expecting a great story line, this was just a fun little movie that you won't be angry about shelling out your dough, and all the laughs were not just in the commercials.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not going to win any academy awards, this was just a nice little fun movie. A little far fetched with the story, but really you had to go that way, nobody would ruin a rehearsal dinner like that, and that's all I will say so not to ruin anything, but it was a nice little movie that a couple can enjoy seeing or if you want to smille a little on a lone trip to the movies. Not going to be that many out loud belly laughs, but it was a movie you can bring the kids and not be embarrassed by language or behavior.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
