The plot is very simple and some of the dialogue is very corny. While it does attempt some emotional development--providing adequate conclusions to the so-called evolution of the characters--it fails because there is nothing to conclude. I was very surprised that the director tried to "tie up" the loose ends when he only made one storyline apparent. In the end I was left with some questions unanswered.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
