A Wonderful Movie Experience

Speaking as someone familiar with the Star Trek universe, but not a hard core Treker, this was a great movie. It did a very good job of showing the beginnings of the characters relationships.
While it had plenty of action and special effects, it had a also sound plot and excellent acting. Although there are plenty of treats for fans of the original Star Trek, you don't need to know anything of it to enjoy this movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
