Bringing Trek Back To Life

I've been follwing the production of this movie for at least two years. After finally getting to see it, I'd say it lived up to about 99% of my high expectations.
The casting is genius, and the script is full of nice character moments that stay true to orignal series. There is plenty of humor, almost too much with Scotty, but with someone as funny as Simon Pegg it must have been hard to keep under control. Visual effects are eye-popping magnificent, the Enterprise herself looks very good. The music is terrific.
The movie is so fast paced, there will be more to enjoy after future viewings. I felt the same way after the first viewing of Wrath of Khan. This is a good thing. Well done to J.J. and his team!
