This movie really exceeded my expectations. I wasnt sure what to expect and had heard mixed reviews. But I really enjoyed the action and the effects that were on display. People that enjoy military films will really enjoy the furturistic weaponry in this film. I actually am looking forward to the sequel.

Happy I Went!

After 10 Star Trek movies I was skeptical about whether another movie would be any different. I was pleasantly surprised. It was fresh, funny, action oriented, great graphics (that didn't look computer generated), great chemistry, very nostalgic. I really enjoyed the movie and many scenes were memorable to me after I left. It wasn't extra long, just the right amount of time, and I left the theatre wanting to watch the other Star Trek movies. Go see it, especially in IMAX...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
