Better than 2&3 mostly b/c return of Dom & O'Connor, otherwise storyline & racing as exciting as 3. Seen Diesel do better acting job, believe it or not. Walker comes into character100%, doesn't try as hard to meet D's level of machismo, makes his character more real. Love J.Brewster, wish got to see more of M.Rodriguez. 1/2expected Dom & O'Connor to make out near end, "bromance" definitely played up in this 1! haha Not a lot of street racing so if u enjoy for the street racing, might not like as much... now there is a real chance of death not just getting caught, more intense. Movie focuses lil less on cars but are still some great ones to admire & of course the RT is back. Nothing more or less than expected.
My husband and I did not watch any trailers for this film, trailers give away too much these days! We had no idea Maggie G had replaced Katie, altho we did know Katie wasn't coming back. Maggie played a much better Rachel then katie ever could have. We also didn't know two-face/Harvey Dent was to be portrayed, that was a pleasant surprise! Aaron Eckhart did a wonderful job. Morgan Freeman was a big fav returning as Lucius, Freeman is a great actor. Christian Bale plays the Dark Knight side of Batman so well. My husband and I are big fans of the 90's Batman movies, esp with Michael Keaton; this series takes away nothing from those and gives us a much more versatile portrayal of these characters!
Finally, Heath Ledger, WOW- we were speechless; from 10 Things I Hate About You (which was actually not bad for a teen flick)... but to THIS. :O
