I went to see this movie because I've always enjoyed Jennifer Garner. I've always thought Mathew McConaughey is a jerk and somewhat the playboy that the character portrays.
The last and only movie he's done worthwhile - was his role in 'Armistad'.
Much to my surprise the movie - even with him was quite touching. If we hadn't had to go through the first 30 minutes of his character's playboy idiocy, the movie would've been really good.
There were absolutely some very touching scences. The movie was pretty good.
