This movie was so touching. It showed Michael as a person, not just an entertainer. It was a rare glimpse and confirmed what many people said who worked closely with him. He spoke so kindly to the crew and the dancers. I don't believe it was an act for the camera. The people who worked with him truly loved him and he showed them genuine love. His untimely death still brings sadness. He will be missed for years to come by his fans.
This movie is one which willl not allow the viewer to come away unaffected. It opens up a world that most people choose to avoid at all costs, but Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr.'s performances demand a reaction. One good indication that I was totally into this is that I didn't look at my watch one time. I was drawn in from the first scene. The acting was superb and delivered with dead on accuracy. The performances were totally authentic. It is a thinking movie, so if anyone is only interested in mindless babble, then stay away. But for those who want a movie with all of the elements of story and plot, buy a ticket without delay. I'd love to see more of the same caliber from each of them.
