I'm a trekkie but...

This is a wildly entertaining movie whether you're a trekkie or not. But, not to give anything away, if I have to watch another Trek movie that's dependent upon TIME TRTAVEL again as a basic plot element, I'm finished with this series.
Abrams could have spent more time developing an interesting story line but instead felt the need to subject the audience to a ridiculous plot line.
This movie could have been an all-time classic, if only someone with great imagination were in control of the development and direction of this picture.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
