After over forty years of the Star Trek franchise and writers coming up with new enemies, they took a page from quantum physics and re-wrote history. Playing the altered time line card was probably the only thing left to breathe life into the series. Altering history has set the stage for a whole new future!! I hope they run with it, they've got my money!
