After seeing the trailers, I expected a better movie. The characters were under developed, the story lines were cliche/weak. There was too much horror for the sake of horror and not enough comedy. So much potential and such a let down. With that said, I did like the casting. Although it took me a while to get used to James Bond as a cowboy. Ok to see on a $6.00 Tuesday if there is nothing else you want to see. Other than that, save your money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

My family and I really enjoyed the movie. It was great that they managed to get some history of the Cullen's in there. We all agreed that we would have liked to see more of the final climactic fight at the field and more of Bree and company. We wouldn't mind another 30-45 minutes in the theater to see it. Definitely worth seeing though!

I am not a fan of comics. I like the TV shows and movies. I thought this movie was very entertaining. I enjoyed the relationship between sabretooth and wolverine and the explanation of his origin. Tried to look up info on sabretooth when I got home and it seems like the comics had him going in several different directions at different times. Not familiar with some of the characters, so I was able to enjoy them without worrying about how they fit the comics storyline. I hope we see more of these origins films in the future. See it in the theater if the money is not an issue. If it is, then it would be a good rental.
