Trek + Time Travel = Plot Holes

THE GOOD
The new actors portrayed their characters very well. I love the costumes, sets, ship designs, and musical score. Good pace with plenty of sci-fi action.

THE BAD
Numerous plot holes, which is to be expected given that this is Star Trek and the plot involves time travel.

THE UGLY
Comedy scenes involving Scotty were juvenile. Why a water-coaster and a little alien friend? These sad attempts at humor were terribly out of place in a dramatic film.

This movie is worth the $8 to $10 you'll spend. Catch it on the big screen, where you can really appreciate the epic space battles. Finally, the Enterprise can shoot more than one weapon at the same time! I'm looking forward to the sequels.
