Good and bad...

If you take this movie at face value it's a great one to see. There's a story, the effects are solid and the action keeps on coming so the time passes quickly. If you just look at it from that angle it's a real good summer film.
However if you are a fan of the comics or even the other X-men films you will probably find this one lacking. All the pre-release hype made such a big deal out of the secondary characters that I was really excited about getting to see some of my mutant favorites. But really this film is about Logan and Victor so those of us that were hoping to see a lot of Gambit, Deadpool and the Blob are pretty much out of luck.
An enjoyable movie over all but I was hoping for more.
