Sci-Fi is back!!!!!

I just got back from seeing this movie, and it is awesome! Loved it! First of all, this movie blows away "Skyline". They dropped the ball on that one. However, in "Battle: LA", it is done so much better. The camera shots were unbelievable in my eyes, it felt like you were with the Marines in the fight scenes. This movie is more realistic too I believe, as it tells the story not from a person's point of view, but rather the military's point of view. The media is involved of course, but it is so good. Pay full price to see it, this movie is for the Sci-Fi crowd like myself. Go see it if you like aliens, massive gun play, and, oh yeah, the aliens are creepy looking, along with their technology that they bring. :) Enough said!

Watch out, the devil is coming...

I just got back from seeing this flick and I really enjoyed it. It was action all the way, some sexy scenes, and a few devil worshipers thrown into the mix. First thing is this, you don't have to see this movie in 3D. Sure there are some scenes, but let's be honest, I paid $13.50 to get into an afternoon flick for this movie, and to me, that's a little up there in price. Second, this movie moves fast, no slow moving parts to it, and third, not a bad cast either. Pay matinee price though, just my opinion... ;)

Very good movie...

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I'm a huge fan of Jeremy Renner and Jon Hamm. I did not give this five stars because the movie is predictable. I will not give this movie five stars because it was filmed in Boston. Bottom line is you know who is going to get away, you know who's not going to survive, and you certainly can tell who gets let down. All in all, I still enjoyed this movie. I didn't think it was violent at all. I would see this movie again.

Movie was good, NOT great!

My sister and myself went to see this movie at the IMAX theater, and we both thought it was good, but not great! I felt the trailer gave that fight scene away. Plus, there wasn't nearly enough action as I thought there would be. I would not pay the full price to see this movie, take in the matinee flick. As for the other two movies, we both liked them. We both liked the books a lot too. Team Cullen rules!!!!!

Disappointing...

When I first saw the trailer for this movie, I was so psyched to see it. After seeing this movie now, I was really disappointed. This movie reminded me of 'Crash', but not nearly as good. I thought with the star power in this movie, it would rock! Boy was I disappointed. I would not recommend seeing this movie at full ticket price. This is an afternoon flick at best. If you can wait for it to come on on DVD, then do that.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I thought this movie was very good. I was never bored of it. I will be adding this DVD to my collection once it comes out.
