I strongly advise anyone who is planning to see this movie to purchase the prequel, "Countdown" before seeing the movie. It will enhance your experience even more. From the very beginning, I knew why Nero's second was asking the origin of the ship in question (by the way it is called "The Jellyfish" and it was designed by Jordi LaForge in the future specifically to explore quantum singularities.) and why Spock's image was used in that scene and why Nero hates Spock so much. Otherwise you have to wait for the mind meld scene and then you only get a 2 min. explanation that does not do it justice. I can't wait for the continuation. Now I'm going to see it at an IMAX theatre. Took my whole family, from age 10-43 we all loved it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
