Starts slow but ends with a Bang!

The first half of the movie is not great, it runs slow and feels like it's going in no direction, once you get to the final battle, IT'S AWESOME! Optimus has very little screen time, this one was definitely more about Sam. Overall not disappointing, hang in there the ending is great.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie does not disappoint. Yes, some of the other characters come in and then disappear, but let's remember what the name of this movie is: Origins: Wolverine. So, as it's title implies, the movie is about how Wolverine came to be. Loved the action, loved the story and even true comic book fans will like it. The best part: You don't have to be a die-hard fan of the comics to enjoy it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
