Great Movie Experience

That's something which has been hit or miss with previous Star Trek movies. There's no doubt this updated version was meant for the big screen and it doesn't fail to entertain. With that said, there are plenty of reasons for die-hard Trekkies to mourn - Vulcan is gone; the timeline that we have grown up with no longer exists. But you know what, to heck with the timeline. This is not your Dad's Star Trek, this is your son's (or your daughter's). Let them enjoy the Human Adventure in the same way we did, just a lot louder and faster.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
