The only negative comment I have to say about this movie would be concerning that one *intercourse* (since when is seks a profanity...?) scene. You know the one...with the ironically strange misplaced music. I didn't know whether I should be enjoying the scene, or ashamed to be watching it, what with the weird music. Other than that, this movie was beyond great. Great action, beautiful cinematography, and an amazing plot line - pay close attention to everything, there's a lot of information to take in. A must see, if you haven't already. :)
This movie was absolutely great. Definitely the explanation we all craved for how it (Werewolves/Vampire relationship) began. Bill Nighy was beyond magnificent as Viktor - he was one of my favorite characters from the previous Underworld movies. The action was top-notch as was the acting, plot direction and that balcony scene? Oohh...top-notch, indeed, my friends. Keep in mind that this is the story leading up to the first Underworld movie, and see it if you haven't already!
This movie was so ridiculously funny that, yes, I laughed until my stomach hurt. Definitely worth a watch. I love Kevin James' overall antics throughout the movie.
At first I was just going to state: This movie was spectacular, if you haven't seen it by now, you should...however, I have to add that this is one of the greatest movies I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. Though it is dark, sadistic, even masochistic at times, it's more realistic than any of the other Batman movies. The Joker's (nurse) scene as he's walking away from the hospital? Yeah, that made the movie for me.
First off, I wouldn't even recommend this to most teenagers that I know due to the cursing (although I enjoy it) and graphic references to practically...everything. It was a comical movie. The plot was rather dull...actually, if I'm being honest, it was just stupid. And what happened to Anna Faris's lips? They bothered me the entire movie. Celia Weston (plays the mother of Seth Rogen's character: Ronnie) made the movie worth watching. Every scene she was in was hilarious and expected. It was a so-so movie. If you want "eff this eff that," random blood shed, bi-polar disorder fits of rage and hilariously nonsensical joking...it's worth a see.
So, basically, though this movie was somewhat long-winded, and our stupid theatre skipped 15-20mins of it (thanks dishTV), it was amazingly entertaining. And of course, I suggest you see the subtitled version - I saw the first two Death Notes dubbed...and nothing compares to the original voices. Kenichi Matsuyama's acting skills are out of this world. I giggled, laughed out loud, cringed, got teary-eyed, and left wanting to know even more! Go see it! PS: the bicycle scene is the BEST - all I hear is that "I Want To Ride My Bicycle" song playing in my head each time I watch it.
Okay, mind you, I went into the theatre expecting to be heavily disappointed with Gambit and Deadpool's portrayals...and was unexpectedly surprised by the awesomeness that is know as X-Men Origins: Wolverine. As for Deadpool, oh man, you'll be blown away by his sword skillz. I'm ashamed that I doubted Gambit even for a second! I don't care that Hugh Jackman is taller than Wolverine's actual character, or less angry/scruffy than most wanted, he IS Wolverine - I could not imagine any other actor replacing him. Overall, despite a few repetitive scenes with Wolverine and his brother, the plot was understandable if you've followed the other movies, and the action sequences were so amazingly sfkdjalkfdsa wonderful, you have to go see it. GO NOW!
I rather enjoyed this movie. Although the overall plot direction was somewhat questionable, the racing sequences were excellent. I thought Dom's character would be a little more...saddened by the events that played out - but the manner in which he reacted to said events was justified considering he has always had a hardcore air about him. All in all, great action packed sequel that made you question: Tokyo Drift, what? Pfft! Oh, and I loved the music/soundtrack!
