Very interesting

I'm glad saw this movie. The music was a plus; the cinematography was spectacular; but the "story" was very weak. We spent two hours in another world, and that was an interesting escape.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I went to see the movie knowing I would enjoy hearing any Beethoven. The story is very engaging - how nice to see just one individual care enough to try to encourage talent even when the psychological odds were over-whelming. Even if the reporter's main goal was to 'get a story', he knew it was a story worth telling and one that did brought awareness to a desperate situation in LA.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
