A classic rags to riches tale, with the added bonus that it's (almost literally) a true story.
My expectations weren't that high for this movie (where oh where was the marketing?), and it far, far exceeded them.
You'll learn something about football, you'll admire Sandra Bullock's assets, you'll laugh out loud, you'll cry, you'll come away feeling better about life. What more could you want from a movie?
Put aside your cynicism, believe that sometimes people do good things for others, and let yourself go. You won't regret it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
