An epic remake

When you think of the Star Wars prequels, you realize how badly someone can take a true quality franchise and butcher it.
This movie is the total opposite. It is true to the fokelore and myth of Star Trek, the acting is superb, the effects and production quality is fantastic, and the story line is great. Without giving anything away, it opens up many new story lines for the future.
Unlike the Wolverine movie (1 1/2 hours, low budget), this movie is 2 hrs plus and it moves quickly and tells a solid story. You won't be bored!
Its a must see! And trust me, as someone who doesn't spend a lot of money going out, this Star Trek film is worth seeing on the big screen!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
