I felt there were two completely seperate stories happening with little to no connection between the two.
The script was very poor and gave the actors little to work with. Most characters who were very diverse in past movies fell flat because the screenwriter seemed to forget to give them the chance to show their personalities.
I know it is hard to fit so much story into one book but the writer could have spent more time focused on the main story and less on adding content that was redundant and sometimes completely different from the original story.
Considering all this, the art direction was beautiful and the actors were amazing considering what they were given to work with.
