I really do appreciate what this movie stands for. This movie has a solid story line with superb acting and I did enjoy the movie. I just don't think this movie justifies a trip to the movies. It is definitely worth renting.

I had NO expectations

I really had NO expectations for this movie and walked out a happy person. I do not agree that this was a "perfect" movie like many of the reviews would have you believe. There are a lot of good one liners and many plays on the original series that worked rather well. The story was ok, but there were many gaps. I don't want to get into details about what was wrong because it would ruin it for people who haven't seen it. Lets just say there is a paradox problem here.....
I thought the acting was superb. I also don't think they could have done a better job casting. It is a definite must see for any Star Trek fan.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
