Great "Sequel" to Original Story

I loved every minute of "Alice" in IMAX 3D. The story, costumes, acting and backgrounds were great. There were lots of little things that made us laugh all throughout the movie and Helena Bonham Carter deserves an award for her portrayal of the Red Queen. Her character was so entertaining that it was actually my favorite character. There were some good life lessons in the movie as well. I don't tend to buy movies when they come out on DVD but I will buy this one. And seeing it with the IMAX 3D experience just enhanced everything.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

For the most part, pretty good

Overall I really enjoyed the movie, story line and effects. I felt the plot line was very predictable though, almost from the very start. The only other real complaint I had was that the movie was filled with obvious negative political statements about our U.S. Military. Phrases like "We'll fight terror with terror," along with a diagram in the shape of the Pentagon on a map of attack, were so overt as to be laughable. It makes the clear point that James Cameron isn't a fan of our military and foreign policy. If you can put aside all of that and just enjoy the movie for entertainment value and special effects, you'll enjoy yourself.
