It's a Michael Bay film = Explosions. It was entertaining enough and had some great action sequences. But the silly banter between the the minor characters during major plot points gets old - fast. It suffers from what I call Phantom Menace-syndrome. A war movie with serious adult tones overshadowed by a pointless comic relief to keep your kids attention. BLOOD-DEATH-PLOT / oh look, shiny keys.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
