I'll start by saying I'm not a comic book aficionado, but I do enjoy movies such as Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Sin City, X-Men, etc... I'm even looking forward to the new Star Trek movie even though I never really watched the show.
I thought Wolverine was very entertaining, but they could have done a lot more with it. I mean, the good parts were very cool (i.e. the fight scenes, special effects, Wolverine's transformation...) but it seemed like there weren't enough of them, and the movie was pretty anticlimactic. Like, when it ended, I wasn't sure what was happening next... And Gambit's an awesome character - why the heck didn't we get to see more of him / Tim Riggins? Hopefully in the next installment...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
